The "Freak Out" Lesson.

Freak out means to go crazy, worry a lot or get very angry and sometimes be very surprised. You have to look at the sentence to understand the meaning of the word, as you often do in English. Words can have flexible meanings in English and often you have to look at the context of the whole sentence to understand a particular word’s meaning, as it is used.

  • A: I freaked out when the bus I was taking in Halifax stopped on the MacDonald bridge. worry

What is the reason/meaning for the “freak out?” (note: there may be more than 1 answer so be sure to explain how or why you chose to use the meaning you did).
