Drink drink - drank - drunk Drink (infinitive) I would like to drink some juice. I drink sometimes. Drank (past) I drank 3 glasses of coke, now my stomach hurts. He drank orange juice. Drunk (past participle) He shouldn't have drunk so much last night. *Note* 'Drunk' is also used as an adjective and means 'intoxication' from drinking too much alcohol. More fun stuff! “I don’t drink.” This means that ‘I don’t drink alcoholic drinks,’ of course everyone drinks some liquids, but not everyone drinks alcoholic drinks (beer whisky, wine, sakee, soju, etc). |
