see – saw - seen

See (infinitive) What would you like to see in Halifax?

Saw (past) I saw the Bluenose II, the famous sailing ship from Nova Scotia.

Seen (past participle) Going to Vanity Fair’s party after the Oscar’s is a real place to see and be seen .

to see and be seen is an idiom that means you will see important people at that place, and famous or important people will see you and think you’re important because you’re there.
